The UWA Mediation Clinic is dedicated to providing excellence in the practice, research,

and teaching of mediation and family dispute resolution

At present, we are undertaking intensive research into narcissistic and coercive control,

and have limited availability to offer mediation services

We have a number of local mediators in our Community of Practice

UWA is an AMDRAS RTP and RAP

Course Details

As the curriculum complies with the educational requirements of the Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS), upon successful completion of both the:

  • Certificate of Training (COT) and

  • Certificate of Accreditation (COA)

participants are eligible to apply for registration as a Nationally Accredited Mediator (AMDRAS)


The full course includes all required modules, a coaching workshop, and accreditation assessments
 

The course attracts legal CPD points and CPD hours for psychologists

Pre-requisites

  • The course is for professionals who wish to add mediation to their skill-base. However, there are no formal requirements for admission

  • For participants wishing to subsequently undertake FDRP training with the UWA Mediation Clinic, our AMDRAS course is a pre-requisite

Costs

  • $3,300 inc gst

  • ​​​​Discounts: May apply for current UWA staff and students, or those making a group booking (3 or more participants). Please email us prior to registration​​​

  • Note: Course costs include fee to receive registration as a Nationally Accredited Mediator for two years with the AMDRAS Board

The Clinic offers national mediation accreditation (AMDRAS) training courses in conjunction with the Mediation Training Institute Australia (MTIA) and the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM)
